twins are a blessing and will be blessed

Sunday September 4--Mike and I will be attending a baby blessing, well.. two! Matthew Paul and Michael Ryan will be blessed at my sister's ward here in Riverton. We are making hawaiian haystacks and I've been looking forward to them since we ate them in St. George last month!!!!

the farewell. the begining.

The most recent event was Jace Larson's farewell on Sunday the 21. Where Monica, Maddi, Mallory, Michael and I decided that it would be cool to have a blog and to keep track of all our adventures and activities. Soooo.. Here we are. With a family blog. Cool>>>

Jace gave a GREAT talk. I loved how he started it out. "Last time I was sitting up here, ready to give a talk, Brother Harrison--from the old bishopbric--leaned over and asked it I was ready to give my talk. I whispered to him, 'Not only am I ready to give this talk, I am ready to be the bishop of this ward.' I have humbled myself a little and realize that I am not ready to be a bishop, I'm barely ready to be a missionary."
